Nonketotic hyperglycinemia is an extremely rare congenital metabolic disorder, which is caused by the lack of a glycine cleavage system. The onset of hyperglycinemic symptom is during the neonatal or early infant period. Progressing grave neuromotor dysfunction is one of the main symptoms.
